PUMPKIN HUNT
You’re going on a pumpkin hunt. Real or fake, you decide.
MAKE A PLAN
Plan a day at a local pumpkin patch. If you don’t have a pumpkin patch within an hour drive, plan an outing to a local store for a real pumpkin or a local home decor store for a fake pumpkin.
PICK A PUMPKIN
Pick one pumpkin that will become this year’s ”Thankful Pumpkin”.
WRITE YOUR THOUGHTS
For the next 30 days or up until Thanksgiving Day (depending on when you purchased your pumpkin) ask each member of your family what they are thankful for each day and write it on the pumpkin. If a family member is out of town or away at college, text them nightly for their response & add it to the pumpkin.
A SPECIAL TREAT
At the end of the month enjoy a special treat and talk about all your family is thankful for.

If you keep a real pumpkin in your house for 30 days, it will likely be rotten by the end of 30 days
